Wagging Trails Off-Leash Group
Canine Cardio’s signature service! These off-leash excursions with eight to twelve dogs are a great opportunity for your pup to socialize with others and get healthy, supervised exercise. “Wagging Trails” takes place on a private, fenced in property, ensuring your dog’s safety. I have been putting these groups together for 13 years. I take it very seriously. Not only will it be a safe play environment, all dogs in the group are well socialized and love to meet new friends!
Happy pups having a blast out at the farm
How it Works:
Pickup: Clayton will come by and pick up your dog(s) for the group.
“Wagging Trails”: Once all pups have been picked up, we are off to our private land in Seekonk. A typical day includes 60-75 minutes of hiking, playing and running. We have fresh water and pools for warm weather. The ride home is usually very quiet as the pups are happily exhausted.
Return Home: Once our 60-75 minute group run has been completed, your pooch will be returned home ready to relax, allowing you to do the same. We typically have dogs out of the house 2-2.5 hours total including play and drive time. We do an AM and PM group Monday-Friday. Full day options are also available!
Service Area: Our coverage areas include Providence (East Side, Fox Point, Downtown), Pawtucket, East Providence and Rumford
PRICE: $30/group. $45/Full Day(AM & PM Groups)
The Canine Cardio Van! Fitted with an A/C unit and vent, your dog will be safely transported in comfortable style!

Dogs have personalities just like people do. I want to make sure there is a mutual connection that can build trust with you and with your dog.
This first meeting will give us an idea of your dog’s fitness level, recall and level of socialization. The off-leash group takes place in a contained, fenced in area, so excellent recall isn’t required, however well socialized dogs who have off-leash experience are the best candidates. If recall needs improvement, we do work on it with call words and treats. In addition, dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations, great with other dogs and spayed or neutered
Before reaching out, it’s always a good idea to talk with your vet to make sure your best friend is healthy enough and the appropriate age for active play
Benefits of Group Activity for Dogs
Socialization, especially at a younger age, can help your dog get along and play safely with other dogs.
This group includes very active play, which is is beneficial to dogs who may be home alone for extensive periods. We have seen reduced separation anxiety and elimination of destructive behaviors from dogs who attend “Wagging Trails”
Allows timid or fearful dogs the ability to build confidence and trust.
Dogs feel sleepy, rather than restless, at bedtime. We have heard from many happy clients that their dogs are much more calm in the evening after a “Wagging Trails” excursion. We know you like to relax after a long day of work, and now you and your pup can do it together!
Brooklyn just moved to RI from California earlier this year. She loves winter and has been a great addition to our group!
